@blueberry Can you compare it to GrapheneOS or do you have reasons why you chose to try Calyx over Graphene?

I'm asking because I never tried either, but I was thinking about buying pixel 4a just for Graphene OS.

I'm kinda thinking about having a proprietary android tablet and a completely OSS phone with less apps, but better privacy since that is what I'd carry everywhere. Could be a nice way to get the best of both worlds.

@UncleAlbie I haven’t tried anything else yet, but Calyx is basically just stock Android with Google bits removed iirc. It’s nice being able to firewall Android apps like Gboard.

But that’s exactly what I did. I bought a used pixel just for trying out Android.

I think that’s a fine plan
